I've been at MasterCraft Cabinets for over 8 years.

My daily work:

I am the Job Coordinator for the shop. I came to MCC with a background in finishing, but I've performed every facet of our cabinet line.

What I like about my work:

Every job is unique. Nothing is ordinary. I really enjoy the customizing aspect to our craft. I am given the opportunity put my knowledge and experience into practice when presented with a blueprint.

MCC is unique and distinctive because we use such a high quality of wood materials and then build our pieces with great attention to detail. Very little material in the production process is wasted and our customized cabinets and other products are built with style, and efficiency and optimizing of space in mind.

My other interests:

The arts, music, playing guitar.

Favorite foods:

Mexican, Chinese.

Travel:

I've toured around the country to different states. ‘Been to New York, Canada.

Ralph Sprague, Finishing

I've been with MCC for about 5 years.

My daily work:

I perform most of the operations at various times, but I specialize in finishing, cabinet assembly and product delivery.

What I like about my work:

I enjoy all the variety of different work, being able to move from one facet to another.

You can clearly see the qualitative difference between finely crafted MasterCraft Cabinets products and products manufactured in plain stock millwork shops.

My other interests:

Hockey, hockey, hockey! I have a boy and girl in hockey programs, so I practically live at the ice arena. I serve as a timekeeper for the games and as assistant coach with the teams.

When I do have the time, I play bass for a Christian rock band in Traverse City.

Favorite foods:

Just about everything.

Travel:

Shawn Rosinski, Woodworking 

I've been at MasterCraft Cabinets for 1 year.

My daily work:

I spend most of my time running the woodworking department, including the assembly of doors, and drawer boxes.

I also run the moulding machine and glue up wood components.

One of my special skills is setting up some of our complex machinery, like the moulding machine.

What I like about my work:

I feel rewarded seeing the product take shape—from the stock to the finished, customized piece.

My other interests:

I like sports, and basketball in particular. I also enjoy snowmobiling, ice-fishing, being outdoors.

Favorite foods:

Grilled and smoked fish, chicken.

Travel:

I would like to go on a fishing trip to Canada.

David Tanner 

I've been with MasterCraft Cabinets for 1 year and 3 months.

My daily work:

I perform different jobs during the day and week. I frequently concentrate on operations in the woodworking department, doing assembly work, and cutting stock for cabinets.

What I like about my work:

I enjoy working with all the great woods we have in stock, and seeing the products frame up and take shape.

My other interests:

I enjoy many activities: gardening, sports, arts & crafts with my wife and kids, teaching my kids how to work with wood. I also play trumpet, and I recently bowled a 297, and 888 in a 3 game series!

I'm also a real baseball fan.

Favorite foods:

Grilled foods, Asian, Korean food.

Travel:

Neal Hughes

I've been with MasterCraft Cabinets for 6 months.

My daily work:

I have been concentrating on finishing work since I arrived. I have a background in Auto Mechanics, which has helped me understand the machinery we operate in the shop.

What I like about my work:

I enjoy all the wonderful woods we work with, and the learning experience has been really rewarding.

My other interests:

Football, snowboarding in the winter, dirt bikes (my favorite activity), and just being in the great outdoors.

Pizza!
